Edo Fusion Asian Cuisine & Ramen — Restaurant in Krakow

Service great. People are so friendly and kind. The waitresses and waiter were very good at their jobs. I came here a few times for a few years and am concerned they changed ownership, supplier, or cook. Tom Yum soup broth was great, shrimp was overlooked so they left it boiling for too long it was gummy. Be careful with frozen sea food! It can be good Even frozen but don't overcook it! But the broth was great. I read another review, and I agree about the green curry. Extremely watered down, like soup. The chicken in it was also so cooked that it was almost chewy, so again I think the cook tends to overcook the meat, or let's it sit boiling too long in the sauce. I don't know. Also, I don't know anything about duck, for me it was over-piezcony, not very tender, so it was difficult to chew. Overall, all the meats and fish were overcooked, so just wanted to give some constructive feedback. Flavors can be good in some dishes, others just average. Pad Thai was too sweet, but noodles cooked well. I have no idea what those strange deep-fried reheated tofu squares were about, just pan fry or deep fry some tofu, don't reheat deep fried tofu, it does not work. I loved this place before so I hope you guys figure things out! I'd be happy...

It would have been perfect but service was strange. We were just eating our shared sushi plate and suddenly she comes asking if we want to pack it up. We were taken aback because we had just got the order and there were still so many other customers sitting eating their meal. She didn't say anything about the restaurant about to close, I looked it up to figure out what the heck was going on. Still don't understand why she rushed us, there was still half and hour for closing time and like I said, many customers were still sitting. We divided that bill in three but honestly I barely ate any of it.. It really annoyed all three of us. She could have said "were gonna close soon, can I hand you the bill? " and while we figure out how to pay for it, we could have still kept eating instead of taking our plate of sushi away and hovering over us, putting pressure during payment. Really poor customer service honestly and I'm writing this now still craving the sushi that got packed up prematurely (because it's only 1 package so we couldn't all take...

It hurts me to write a bad review for a restaurant with such lovely service and a nice atmosphere - but the food was thoroughly disappointing.

We ordered the ramen; one with spicy chicken, one with duck. It tasted off from the first sip of the broth. It was too salty, too fishy, and unbalanced overall. Things went downhill from there - rubbery meat, bland greens, starchy noodles, and tough bamboo. After tasting those, the broth actually improved in comparison. Neither of us could get through half the meal. At least the beer was good.

There is a lot of room for improvement here. As I said - the service was polite and the beer was tasty, and perhaps we were just unlucky with our selection. I see a lot of very positive reviews here. But when so much goes wrong in one dish, you have to wonder what the rest might be like. We won't go back to find out.

I hope Edo take this review as constructive criticism, and that other diners in the future can be justified in writing...
