Outstanding. Every stall I went to (3 in total being Boogie Truck, The Dog and the Chimney Cake Stall) were super polite and friendly and I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were.
The food quality itself was immaculate, the boogie truck especially as I've been twice now (both burgers and the plum pop pictured). It's a little greasy but that's obvious and the flavour is exceptional. The Chimney Cakes (cinnamon I got) were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle and reminds me a lot of donuts. The Dog, the hotdog I had was the classic and it was fantastic, I was skeptical due to the sauerkraut but it really added to the flavours - only criticism is the hotdog itself was a bit tough to chew through.
Cleanliness not really an issue but it's open seating so there were a few messy tables from other people (a lot of English come here I've...
Read moreThis small food truck square has somewhere between 8-10 trucks on any given day, most of them savory and substantial dishes. I can recommend the crepes, and the coffee at the Knitted Coffee stand is divine. There is one consistent dessert option (churro-like ice cream cones), and on fair days a gelato stand may be there as well. The service can be a bit slow, but the prices are fair. Because of the nature of food trucks the quality unfortunately varies a bit. The square gets very busy at peak lunch and dinner hours, so come outside of those if you want a chance to sit. Most of the trucks do take card, which I thought was fantastic, but it's a good idea to bring cash anyway. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FOOD UNATTENDED. The pigeons WILL put their disgusting feet all over it in an attempt to get the best portion for themselves. They...
Read moreI like the food truck/street food park concept. This kind of place usually offers a wide variety of local food selections considerably less expensive than traditional restaurants and in a very casual way. Judah Food Market is just that, there are several delicious and simple options.
However, I recommend taking a good look when choosing where to eat in the Judah Food Market. Some food trucks are filthy and food preparation is not done in a hygienic way, such as the hamburger place. The hamburger patty machine was “cleaned” with a filthy cloth. The guys who made the hamburgers looked very dirty, from their hats to their shoes. Disgusting!
But there are other fabulous options there which are very clean and food handling is done...
