This place was PHENOMENAL. We had just gotten into Krakow after a long journey and were starving. This place was close by so we decided to check it out and boy am I glad we did. The prices were so ridiculous. Basically less than USD$3 for a huge plate of 9-10 pirogi. They have a wide array of sweet and savory pirogi to satisfy any craving. EN: Unfortunately, not as good as expected based on previous google reviews. Pierogi ruskie were still ok, but any other kind (spinach, kraut) tasted solely salty and nothing else. I don‘t know whether they had a bad day or I‘m simply too polish to appreciate pierogi that taste nothing like typical polish pierogi. There are a lot of temporary foreign students in Krakow, this might explain the good previous reviews. To me, the only obvious flavor was the flavor enhancer. The same goes for the root beer soup. However, the fruit kompot drink was really good and had original polish taste ;-)

PL: Niestety nie takie dobre jak oczekiwaliśmy na podstawie gwiazdek w google. Ruskie pierogi były jeszcze w miarę ok, ale barszcz, pierogi ze szpinakiem i pierogi z kapustą (nie kiszoną!) i grzybami smakowały wszystkie jakby wyłącznie Vetegą przyprawione, po prostu smak samego glutamatu. Ze szpinakiem na prawdę tylko były zielone w środku, a smaku miały poza glutamatem żadnego. Bardzo szkoda. Pierogi z boczkiem i serem nie mogę ocenić bo zamiast nich dostałam więcej ze szpinakiem na pomyłkę (właśnie tych... ;-/).Bo wszystko kupione na wynos dopiero w domu zauważyliśmy. Kompot wypity przy czekaniu na miejscu był smaczny (mógł być mniej słodki, ale to już od indywidualnego...

Not a very cozy place but... Cheap and very much delicious Polish food. Rather large portions, a bit too large in my opinion. So, if you wish to eat on a budget and don't care about the place, this is the right place. Cheap, delicious, plenty, these are words that describe the place the best, I think. And yes, the center of the city! I never checked whether the staff speaks English but they should have...
