We had great fun learning about the history of obwarzanki, how they are made and most of all, we got to make them ourselves! Our host was knowledgeable and very passionate about the bread and making sure that everyone is aware of the legal protections covering the obwarzanek, and how to spot an imitation or machine made one. Making them was really fun, we got the choice between sesame seed, poppy seed or salt topping, and we got to eat them or take home after. You get a certificate of competency included, to say you’ve been taught the correct method of making this delightful bread. They also have a recipe card you can take home to have a go making them again on your own. I would 100% recommend this, It’s been the highlight of our trip to Kraków.

I recently attended the Polish bagel workshop at the Live Bagel Museum in Krakow, and it was an interesting experience! I paid for the workshop, and it was worth every penny. The teacher was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the history and fact of Polish bagels. We started with dough, but primarily focused on shaping the bagels while the teacher handled the rest of the process. It was hands-on and engaging, making it a fun activity for anyone. I highly recommend this workshop to tourists with some spare time—it's a unique way to learn about Polish culture and enjoy delicious bagels!

Great experience, one of my favorite things to do in the city so far. Our guide was lively, funny, and definitely knew her stuff. I appreciated that the experience was also good for solo visitors like myself; everyone else in the group were couples with kids, and we adults were having just as much fun as the kids.

A suggestion would be to streamline the entrance process a bit - our room (Sala B) was small, which meant we were always in each other's way in the beginning as we took turns washing our hands and getting aprons. I think it would be helpful to have people line up outside the room and then let in 2-3 at a time, give them a minute to settle in, and then let others in.

Overall highly recommend giving this place a try, whether solo or...
