This restaurant is the new Biryani competitor in Krakow. For the last 10 years Zayka dominated the Biryani space with its Hyderabadi Indian Dum Biryani. Unfortunately, apart from them, we had no variety here in Krakow. The Rest of the restaurants just mix chicken curry with low-quality rice. However, today when I tried food from Habibi restaurant, my wife could see that place was small but I knew because of the small place It could also mean they are a new business from Pakistan and the taste might be authentic. I ordered for starters Goat Chapli Kebab and chicken Samosa. Chapli kebab was tender, cripsy and with all the three sauces it tasted like heaven. If you click any random video from Pakistan in YouTube you will know Chapli Kebab is something only Pakistan can offer, so Kudos to the restaurant staff for including it in the menu and bringing it to Krakow. Now to highlight authentic "Pakistani Chicken Dum Biryani" immediately the colour with long flavored rice but not too wet was enough to make an everlasting impression that these guys have done a good job. I broke a piece of tender chicken and along with the Biryani rice took a bite, the blend of spices, was like a symphony in my mouth and almost made me feel like I am at a Muslim wedding. The prices were also lower compared to other Indian restaurants, I hope this restaurant stays in Krakow forever and finds much-needed success and maybe finds a bigger place to accommodate more people.
Word to the staff: Please keep the taste the same guys and keep it authentic to Pakistan. Usually, restaurants lose their taste and authenticity when they go big. Krakow is a tourist destination and very multicultural if the spices and taste is authentic, it will have a reputation of its own and more and more people will keep coming. Wishing you all the luck...

Habibi Restaurant is an absolute culinary treasure for anyone craving authentic desi flavors. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly ground spices and slow-cooked curries promises something special — and trust me, it delivers!
The food here is rich, aromatic, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The butter chicken is creamy and perfectly spiced, the biryani is fragrant with tender meat and bold layers of taste, and the naan is soft, warm, and straight out of the tandoor. Every dish feels like it’s been prepared with love and tradition, reminding you of a home-cooked meal from Lahore or Delhi.
What truly sets Habibi apart, though, is the man behind it all — Umar, the owner and manager. His genuine hospitality, warm smile, and attention to every guest make the dining experience unforgettable. Umar takes pride in his food and his culture, and it shows in every detail. He’s always ready to recommend something special or share the story behind a dish.
Whether you’re new to desi food or grew up with it, Habibi will surprise you with its authenticity, freshness, and soul. A cozy spot with big flavors, great portions, and a welcoming vibe — highly...
Read moreDuring our visit to Krakow, we were looking for some Indo-Pak cuisine and found this cozy restaurant conveniently located near our hotel. It turned out to be a wonderful experience!
Our group of five ordered Mango Lassi, Salt Lassi, Coconut Lassi, Chicken Biryani, Lamb Biryani, Lamb Korma, and Karahi Chicken for lunch. I personally loved the Mango Lassi and Lamb Biryani. Although I initially wanted Mutton Biryani, it wasn’t available that day, so I opted for Lamb Biryani, which was still fantastic.
We enjoyed the food so much that we returned later to pack dinner. I tried the Keema Naan, and it was incredibly tasty. The owner was very humble and kind, offering great recommendations.
Every dish was perfectly cooked, delicious, and full of flavor. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant to enjoy their amazing meals. If we ever return to Krakow, we will definitely come back to try more of...
