The food is definetely very delicious. As a Romanian I found similarities to the Romanian cuisine as well as similarities to the Polish cuisine which attracted me from the start. I had Solyanka two times and every time was very delicious. The dumplings were also delicious. The medovik cake was not the best, but was ok. The ambiance is not the greatest the location being quite small and the staff did not seem to speak English. I had difficulties in the communication with them. I can not figure how this place could have above 4 stars. We had Borscht (beet root) and cabbage roles for dinner. The Borscht was yellow green and made with Chicken. In all my years going to Ukraine I have never had Chicken in Borscht. Beet root Borscht should be dark red, not yellow. It was chicken soup and not very good at that either.
