Ah, the Museum of Illusion in Cracow—a place where reality takes a holiday, and your brain just gives up trying to make sense of things. If you're with the family, especially kids, this is a goldmine of entertainment. Watch as your little ones run around, jaws on the floor, trying to figure out how a room can make them look like giants or shrink them down to hobbit size. Honestly, you’ll spend most of your time pretending you understand how any of it works.
The museum is not just for the kids, though. Adults will find themselves scratching their heads too, or maybe just taking way too many selfies in front of the infinity mirrors. It’s a decent couple of hours of fun, confusion, and, let’s be honest, a lot of Instagram content.
As for the tickets, they’re pretty reasonable—around 40-50 PLN per adult and 35 PLN for kids. Not bad for a place that will trick your brain for about 1-2 hours, depending on how many photoshoots you need to get through.
In short, it’s an amazing spot to take the family, and the kids will absolutely love it. Just don’t expect to leave feeling like you’ve solved...
Read moreGreat place for children to have fun and learn something in the same time. When we got there, a group of preschoolers were experimenting with the ball of electricity and a lady was holding a lightbulb in her hand to show them how they can light it up. We waited patiently to finish with the group and then we politely asked the dark haired lady to borrow us the lightbulb, so that my 5 years old daughter (also a preschooler) try to light it up. The lady obviously and overtly ignored us, although she heard us. When we saw other children who wanted to do the same experiment, beside our daughter, we asked the blonde little girl from the cash desk if she could help us and she did it without asking her twice and she was so kind and considerate and she smiled graciously to all the kids. I'm sorry I don't know your name, blonde little girl, but thank you for not losing...

The meuseum itself has the average illusion gimmicks, double sided portraits, animated mirrors, light effects and the like. Nothing special worth seeing if you have ever been to any other illusion meuzeum.
Consists of two floors, about four rooms and a corridor on the ground floor and eight rooms on the first floor. Takes about an hour to see. The staff is friendly and can all speak English, though they are not all specifically trained about the exhibits. There is no guided tour, only placards next to the exhibits. There is a locker room on the ground floor as well to store belongings.
Would be a very fun trip were it not for the exorbitant prices: 40zł for students and 50zł for adults. Maximum I would be willing to pay would be 15zł to be honest, feels like it was a disappointment even though the company I went...
