One of the worst museum experiences I ever had! This was not only my first museum to visit in Krakow but the first in Poland and it left a bad taste. Firstly, the yard is beautiful and the building itself is grandiose. However the price is ridiculously high for the temporary exhibition. There is very few local archeological info and the Pompeii, Egyptian and Peruvian stuff is not much to look at. The main problem is the lighting, I understand that these are fragile exhibits but you can hardly see anything. Most of the texts are Polish only and the staff don't speak English or French, German wtvr. The rooms are organized in a very bad manner, I visited half of the Pompeii stuff after visiting the rest of the museum. Terrible, hope this is not the...

Read moreOld, outdated and mostly uninspiring. 70% in Polish. Was stumbling around in Egypt exhibition, surprised I didn't break my foot or nose cos of lack of light. Very poor exhibition design and layout with automated lights - but too little of those, so it's veeery dark and full of uneven levels you don't see. Overstaffed, however, useless and non-existent service , 1 out of 10 spoke some English. Staff wouldn't allow free movement around the museum, forcing us into rooms we didn't want to see before allowing us access to the rest of the building. Worst museum...
