I would recommend this restaurant to someone who wants to see how Czech cuisine shouldn't look like. I was there with my friends from all around Europe to get them a sneak peek into the Czech food and beer but it was disaster. First, waiter recommended us fresh budvar from tank but it was absolutely tasteless (bez řízu, bez pěny). We ordered duck, guláš and svíčková. Duck and guláš was quite ok although cabbage to duck was super sweet with very cinnamon taste. However svíčková was completely disaster. Sauce looked like jam (and my friends though it is the jam), super sweet with weird consistency that turned into a jelly in a while. Meet and knedlíky were average but there was a cabbage to it (wtf!), the same cabbage as to the duck. Whole dish tasted like a dessert (plus sweet cream and cranberry jam). Moreover the waiter claimed that he ate svíčková like this in the Czech Republic. Never! Two stars for very nice and kind waiter with perfect English and shot of soplica on the house. I had an absolutely delightful experience at this restaurant! The location is superb, offering a fantastic ambiance for a memorable dining experience. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of appetizers and a substantial menu to choose from. The portions were generous, as one would expect from a Czech restaurant. The service was impeccable, with numerous attentive waitstaff promptly taking orders and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, the only downside was the limited selection of Czech draft beers, with only three varieties available, all of which were Budweiser. I had a great time here. The pub serves nice variety of dishes, service was excellent, location convenient, outdoor seating pleasant. Ordered utopenec, garlic soup, guláš with steam dough bread, trout. Soup was too salty, seems they dropped the whole bag of salt in it. But it had everything, garlic, cheese, bread... Trout tasted as if it was frozen. But I expected that. This is not a fish restaurant. Stick to casserole dishes and you will be in heaven. My guláš was excellent and it made my day.
