Restaurant decor is simple, like in bistro. The place is small but there are a lot of tables inside and outside in the beer garden. The menu has a huge amount of different potatoes dishes. Variety of food made from potatoes is dazzling. I was absolutely shocked. Although everything is made of potatoes, the menu is not boring. Prices are affordable, you can go there with whole your family, and what is more, you can find something good and delectable for everyone, of all ages. Funny names of dishes, e.g. „dla małych pyrożerców”, „pyrażusie”, „pyrocząstki w ziołach”, „frytasy”, „pyranoja”, „kurczak Cukinsyn”. The food is well plated, looks appetizing. The plates refers to simplicity of dishes. I choose typical Poznań cuisine - pyry z gzikiem, that reminded me the taste from ma childhood. Very well baked potato with flavorful cottage cheese and herbs. In addition we also ordered potato pancakes, that was served in many ways with a lot of additions, for example with salmon or tuna! I didn’t eat but it must taste heady. We also took heap of fries, tasted gorgeous, like real potatoes. Great and interesting place for spending time and get to know Poznań, talk about the city, its history, local tradition and of course cuisine in which pyry (potatoes) play important role. For me personally, a nice meeting with the flavors that sometimes appeared in the family...
Read moreVery creative menu that revolves around the legendary potato - the greater Poland’s culinary treasure. Lots of items on the menu for potato connoiseurs. Szare ale jare was a dish that I was craving for since I have it regularly at my home. One of my favorite dishes when cooked properly. Well, what I got was a semi-cooked tasteless white potato pulp, mixed with burnt bacon and missing cottage cheese in it. How do you butcher such a simple recipe???? Very disappointing. I felt a bit better about this place ordering ŚLEDŹonko. This meal was refreshing and tasty. I guess you can't do that one wrong. The wait time was unexpectedly long for dishes that are so easy to make. Three meals were brought in the span of 10 minutes and my kid got his last, which is a red...
Read moreWe've arrived at the bar hoping to grab a quick breakfast, unfortunately what we've got was anything but that. We've ordered 7 potato pancakes with home made fries, it took over 20 minutes just to make the pancakes which is extremely long. There was only one more couple in the bar - so the "it was a busy hour" excuse goes out of the window. Pancakes arrived burned to the point where you couldn't even taste the potato anymore. After a few bites we decided it was not worth our time and stress, we just got up and left without waiting for the fries as they were "Still in the making" Combined with exorbitant prices it was one of our worst food expiriences ever. Tldr - AVOID as you will only find...
