I used to live five minutes away and came all the time. Now I live 15 minutes away, but I still stop in a couple of times a month. The menu changes rarely, and not much of it is very exciting, but in a way, that's the point. Eating at Dmuchawce is like eating at home but without the hassle. The owners are almost always there, and very attentive. The wait-staff remembers all the customers, and can often anticipate what you will order. The decor is eclectic, homey, and definitely not fussy. They sort of advertise themselves as serving southern Italian dishes, but there are as many Polish dishes on the menu as Italian. (Still, the sepia pasta with shrimp is one of my faves.) It's all good -- well prepared from fresh ingredients -- but this is not a gastronome's restaurant. Michelin stars are not what they are aiming for. They are aiming for satisfied, repeat customers, and they have plenty of them. The service is super-friendly, super-flexible, child-friendly, pet-friendly, English-speaking, some German spoken (as I have heard), smiling, gracious, very welcoming — you get the idea. Read moreI sometimes come to Poznań for work and stay in an apartment just 50 meters from Restauracja Dmuchawe. Needless to say, it always becomes a sort of extension of my home. The food is excellent, simple and genuine, made with fresh products, just like in the Italian countryside :). Prices are very reasonable and, above all, the service is adorable, always friendly, smiling and caring. It’s light years away from the touristy restaurants on the Market Square, even though it’s less than a 10 minute walk away!! I recommend it 100%, and in fact I’m writing this right now while sipping a nice Zywiec on their very pleasant...

You fell welcomed, you feel taken care of, you eat great food, you enjoy your time and feel like a part of a family. I can honestly say I can’t imagine not having Dmuchawce down the street and not spending my time there alone, with friends, family and even organizing office parties there ❤️ you will never regret stepping in and just enjoying your time. Plus the summer garden is a star, just like Ela the...
