Great place to visit. It is quite cheap (18/16PLN). Visits takes one hour and starts on each hour from 11am to 5pm. There are two parts of a visit. At first you get a potato and spices (sweat paprika, pepper, salt, and thyme). You put potato inside aluminum foil and add as much spices as you like. At the end of trip you will get baked potato. After preparing a potato main part of exhibition starts. You will move between multiple parts of the museum and hear stories told you by a guide. You will find out what is origin of the potato, some facts about local language related to potato. You will be told the history of South America, Europe, Poland, and Poznań which affected how potato is eaten today. Different topics which are discussed: agriculture and industrial methods, medicine, dishes made out of...

Odwiedziliśmy muzeum z wycieczką klasową. Sam pomysł na Muzeum bardzo fajny, Pan przewodnik ciekawie opowiadał, pieczona pyra wszystkim smakowała. Fajna alternatywa dla kolejnego wyjścia do kina z klasą. To tyle z plusów. Minusy i minusiki. Czekaliśmy na otwarcie muzeum 25 minut na zewnątrz. Obsłudze umknęła nasza rezerwacja na 11 (potwierdzana telefonicznie kilka dni wcześniej). Dzieci ok- krotki spacer, kilka pajacyków, my opiekunowie - konsternacja (na zewnątrz temp 2°). Reasumując : dzieci zadowolone, my dorośli: jest kilka rzeczy nad którymi...

Very interesting exhibition and interactive tour at this museum. It will be enjoyable for any person, adults and kids. You need to book tour in advance, and it costs 25 PLN. It starts from cooking our own pyry (potato), then guided tour with amazing stories near each exhibition, and in the end you will taste your cooked pyry. Also they give discount to Pyra bar....

Great for potato lovers! You will get potato at the start, with some spices and salt and it's baked for you while you're on potato tour. Guide was great and we learnt quite a lot. And at the finish: you get baked potato! Just in time, because we were ( especially me ) quite hungry. Highly recommend
