Awesome dumplings but the modest serving personnel (1 person) was simply overwhelmed with the combined summer garden tables (square) and (cellar) diner orders. We were warned about 40min extended waiting time in advance (std is 20min and the notice is on the menu) so we ordered drinks and took our time to relax. The only serving lady (taking orders and running up and down the stairs with plates) was knackered and many customers were going away when hearing about waiting time... we waited and it was SOOO worth it! OMG... Delicious stuff. Soft dough and seasoned stuffing... believe me when I say I am a picky eater when it comes to dumplings, but this blew us all. After eating it all everyone wished their orders were bigger. Cannot recommend the place enough - the wait is...

Spent a good amount of money and was still hungry.

Don't order the Zapiekanka its disgrace to the famous polish street food.... two small slices of rye bread with some cheese and small sausage slices. I was disappointed cause when ever I come to poland I like to indulge in Zapiekanki

The pierogi were decent. No complaints

They didnt let me mom finish her beverage took it away and told her to get off the patio cause we're closed.

The sign says open till the last customer is done. She was not done...

Don't recommend other then its a nice spot. Go somewhere else.

It was empty when we got there only one customer in the basement. Should have taken that as a sign as everywhere...

Moje ulubione takie miejsce w Toruniu. Przepyszne pierogi, smaczne zupy. Ceny niewygórowane, a dania bardzo sycące.

Wystrój z pewnością nie zachęca, wręcz na pierwszy rzut oka odrzuca. Ciemna piwnica, pełno przeróżnych bibelotów z motywem kota, szalone kolory ścian, ciężkie meble. Może we wczesnych latach dziewięćdziesiątych zostałby uznany za ekstrawagancki, ale dziś szokuje kiczem. Do tego TA muzyka. Miejsce, które z pewnością ma specyficzny klimat. Z pewnością nie mój, ale za tę inność uwielbiam Pod Blaszanym Kotem.

No i te pierogi! Najlepsze jakie jadłam na mieście. W szczególności polecam mięsne. I ten pyszny sos grzybowy.

Dla osób, które nie boją się nowego i chcą mieć co wspominać - polecam!

Obsługa jak najbardziej również tam pasuje. Nie znajdziemy tam kelnera. Zwłaszcza, że tego miejsca nie można nazwać restauracją ;) dostaniemy, menu a gdy podejmiemy wybór mamy podejść do lady złożyć zamówienie, zapłacić i poczekać przy stoliku na pyszne danie. Panie nie mają przyklejonych, sieciówkowych uśmiechów, ale są uprzejme i serdeczne.

Dałabym notę maksymalną, ale zawsze jest o co się przyczepić. W moim przypadku są to szklanki, które czasem zalatują mokrą ścierką.

P.S. Zaglądam tam średnio raz na dwa miesiące od ponad dwóch lat. A do odwiedzenia tego miejsca namówili mnie znajomi, którzy specjalnie na te pierogi przyjeżdżają...
