Not sure how this place gets such glowing reviews.
When I entered, I greeted the staff (there was no one else inside), but was met with silence and blank stares from behind the counter.
Ordering was difficult—the cashier seemed to be staring off into a void somewhere behind me and spoke broken Polish. I had to switch to English to get my order across, and even then, it felt like she was doing me a favor by letting me spend my money on their tea (which, compared to other bubble tea places in the area, is a bit overpriced).
Whatever you do, don't order your drink cold. I did, and my "brown sugar milk tea" tasted like ice—okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, but overall, the drink was disappointing. The ice hadn't even fully melted by the time I finished the tea, 30 minutes later.
My girlfriend ordered the caramel version with less ice, and it was fine, but more expensive than similar teas in the area. After noticing the dirty tables inside, we decided to take a walk.
Overall, the only good thing I can say about this shop is that the bubbles were of decent quality. Still, I recommend visiting Chmielna Street and other shops in the area first unless the staff's attitude changes or the owner...
Read moreAn Asian bubble tea yet discriminating customer service towards Vietnamese customers. Came with a friend, tried to ask staff what was good to pick and got laughed at in return, simply full lack of respect towards customers. The staff seemed friendly and caring towards non-Asian customers but when it came to Vietnamese customers, it was a whole disappointing experience. Lack of respect and professionalism towards your own kind of people wont bring you far. The only plus point was the drink. It was pleasant and exactly what we expected it to be. Have realised that I posted the review on the incorrect station so I had deleted the review in krucza station and re-posted in the station that I visited which...
