Czarnomorka — Restaurant in Warsaw

Food was on good 4+ (tasty oysters, very tasty kingfish, bagietka was not fresh in my opinion and baby octopus was rubber) There are no any complain for kitchen. Complain for service. Greenhouse was stinking and very dirty in our opinion, look like dirty warehouse, and smell like zoo. Service was maximum possible bad. (We ask waiter on entrance for a table for two, so he asked we want inside or garden, we said sure garden if you have one and walk inside of restaurant, he walk with us and than when we went through all of it, I asked where is garden… so he said that it was outside…hm??. And said that we can go alone… we went by ourselves, it was about 5 waiters on garden entrance, one guy smile said that we are welcome and can chose any table, we seat exactly in the middle of greenhouse, waiters was in 2 meters from us speaking jokes to each other(not busy), we waited about 10-15 min no one brought menu, no one react on us…. They already took order from tabes who came after us and we tried to fight for any attention… was really mood to leave place… than was other funny story- one guy gave menu, different guy took an order, next girl brought drinks, than other people brought food but we didn’t received any cutlery or plates… was fight for receiving fork… than one more new person ask what we want more!! In the end, we have to ask bartender for a bill… Maybe it is style of place to don’t care about guests, but sorry, this quality of...

We got a gift card worth 200 zł as a present from a family member and therefore went there for dinner. The food was good and the prices seemed to be fair. Also the service was nice in the beginning. But the good impression changed completely to the worst when we wanted to pay. We handed the waitress the gift card and she said she needed to handle this through her manager. After a few moments she came back and told us that everything was covered with the gift card. We were irritated since we knew that the bill was only around 160 zł, but the gift card worth 200 zł. When we asked the waitress, she confirmed the numbers, but just said that's not much money and they will not give back change in such cases. We asked to get the gift card back, but this was declined, because "the gift card was already devalued". We could also not get any more food or drinks, because they were already closing. There was no warning before we paid with the gift card and there was absolutely no effort to be accommodating later.

In the end we have the feeling that this restaurant is just a rip-off and trying to trick its customers to pay more than they need.

I cannot recommend it at all. There are many better...

have been to Chernomorka several times. the food is delicious, and i have never had any issues after eating oysters and other seafood. however, there are problems with the service. today, my order was taken without any warning about the long wait for the service. after about 40 minutes, I asked the waitress about the status of my order. her response was, "It hasn't been 40 minutes yet, but I think it'll be ready in a couple of minutes." i checked the time of my arrival and realized that only 3 to 5 minutes were missing to reach the 40-minutes I had mentioned, but that was enough for the waitress to make a remark.

10 minutes later, I asked another waiter about the status and said that I was willing to wait for another 5 minutes. After that, he, the waitress, and another person went to the cash register and had a discussion: i’m guessing, my order simply hadn't been sent to the kitchen. 5 minutes later, my waitress approached me and informed me that the order would be ready in 10 minutes.

in the end, I paid for the oysters and left hungry and angry. it seems that the waitress lacked the courage to admit the mistake, as no apologies were...
