Worst experience. I was trying to order the hot chocolate with my Mom. They said that it would take 30 minutes. I said that was fine with me but I wanted to check with my Mom. So I had to pay for everything else I was ordering but get to the back of the line to order our hot chocolate after asking my Mom is she was okay to wait. I was cold and had just sat through a very cold concert at the Chopin Museum. I had been looking forward to this all day. But then after I went to the back of the line to order, the guy behind the cash just started serving other people who were clearly jumping the line. I had waited patiently behind two queues and rhwn this person who had already ordered stood right behind the last guy I was behind, but on the other side. The cashier knew I had waited twice. Said nothing to me and then proceeded to serve the person who had jumped the line, already had an order placed and just wanted to add more things. It was rude and I mainly blame the other patron, but the cashier could have acknowledged me in some way. I knew he saw what was happening but did nothing. What a...
Read moreThe place serves amazing selection of different chocolate based sweets and has a pleasant inviting atmosphere, unfortunately the staff seems to struggle to keep up with the pace even when the place is half empty.
Cool hybrid concept between cafeteria and chocolate ahop that is let down by subpar service. What a shame. (hint for others: if the coffee, wine, etc that you ordered has not reached you in 5-10 minutes, then you were probably forgotten about. Go and remind them that you exist, don’t expect them to notice you just sitting there with a number-sign on your table gathering dust. They will not.
Still: on an optimistic note I have high hopes that the right person reads this and introduces the needed changes (maybe two queues where one is for the chocolate shop and other for the cafeteria or introduce table service?) that would make...
Read moreRead moreCosy relaxing place yet spacious. Friendly English speaking staff. Even if you won't buy their chocolates, it is serotonin releasing to be looking at the display of their beautifully designed minneature sized chocolates. You can eat your choice of pieces or buys them in a nice wrap as a gift. They also sell coffee packets for home use. Their coffee is really good. I loved their various cute jars of mousse with like 10 different flavours--raspberries, chocolate, caramel, coffee, teramisso (how do we spell that? :), etc.; I cannot remember the rest. The little jar is yours to take home when you are done eating. Oh, also their croissants come with free jam--again with different types. You should try the ginger...
