We went to this place on Friday for lunch, as this place is close to our office. We tried the lunch menu which sounds very promising for 35 plan. It included soup, rice, naan, appetizer and chicken side dish for Indian option and double side dish, rice and salad for Thai option. A small bottle of coke was also included. We took the Indian option. For soup we got very small quantity tomato soup. Taste was not too bad, but not very good either. But when the main dish came, we were not happy. The side dish was chicken curry, where neither the gravy not the equally cut 4-5 small cube cut chicken pieces knew each other, until just 3 min back. It seems they had the gravy made with typical onion, garlic, gincer and tomato separately and simply added some chicken pieces and served it. Taste was awful. And quantity was the smallest we ever had in Poland so far. Only few days before, we went to Silver Dragon or chilli kebab grill or Bar Tung Anh and they served at least 3-4 times the chicken with far superior taste a d with lots of ingredients in much less price. The appetizers were 2 very small pieces of papadam. Since they served naan, we needed to use our hand, but they don't have a wash basin near by and only option is to either use hand sanitizer kept there or go to back of building and use washroom.
We were very much disappointed. We even discussed, if they are feeding people this kind of bad, tasteless food in such bad proportion, what are the examples are they setting in the name of Indian food, here in Poland. People will have complete wring idea about what Indian food actually taste like. We've decided to skip this place in the future. Not at all...
Read moreDisappointing Experience, Only the Chai Saved the Day.
I recently dined at this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation, who assured me of its authenticity as a good Indian restaurant. Unfortunately, my visit left much to be desired. My friend and I were looking forward to a satisfying meal, especially the Chai and Paratha that we ordered, along with a few other items. However, our experience was quite disappointing. Upon placing our order, we encountered some confusion with the waiter who seemed to struggle with understanding our choices. After a while, an Indian staff member stepped in to assist us, and we patiently repeated our order. It was frustrating to have to go through this extra step, but we remained hopeful. When our food finally arrived, our hopes were dashed. Everything, except for the Chai, was inedibly burnt. The Paratha, which we were eagerly anticipating, was nothing but a charred mess. The other items we ordered suffered a similar fate. It was disheartening to see such negligence in preparing our food. The only saving grace was the Chai, which was well-prepared and enjoyable. It provided a moment of respite in an otherwise disappointing meal. While I appreciate the effort put into the Chai, I can't overlook the overall poor quality of the dishes we ordered. Considering the mix-up in the order, the burnt food, and the overall lackluster experience, I find it hard to recommend this restaurant to others. It's truly unfortunate that a potentially pleasant dining experience turned out this way. I'm giving it two stars solely for the Chai, but unfortunately, that's not enough to make up for the...
