First and foremost, the ambiance of the restaurant was both inviting and sophisticated. The elegant decor, warm lighting, and attention to detail created a charming and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a memorable evening. The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival, and their professionalism and attentiveness throughout the meal further enhanced our dining experience especially since we were not you typical table considering all of us came at different times and they let us order even tho we were late. Now, let's dive into the culinary delights we enjoyed. The T-bone steaks were an absolute highlight of our meal. Cooked to perfection, they were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The generous portions satisfied our carnivorous cravings and showcased the chef's expertise in preparing top-quality cuts of meat. Accompanied by delectable sauces and expertly seasoned side dishes, each bite was a true pleasure. The Tuna Tartare was a delightful surprise. The freshness of the tuna, combined with a harmonious blend of flavors and textures, created a symphony of taste on our palates. It was evident that the ingredients were of the highest quality, and the presentation was both artistic and enticing. Equally impressive was the Beef Tartare, which boasted an impeccable balance of rich flavors and a melt-in-your-mouth texture. This dish truly exemplified culinary mastery. To complement our meal, the wine selection here was extensive and carefully curated. Lastly, the impeccable service deserves special recognition. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. They anticipated our needs, provided insightful suggestions, and ensured that our evening flowed seamlessly. The level of hospitality demonstrated by the staff truly elevated our dining experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. Our visit to was an absolute pleasure. The combination of outstanding cuisine, a refined atmosphere, a superb wine selection, and attentive service created an unforgettable evening for us. Apologies for not too many photos but rest assured you cannot go wrong with whatever you choose because we did in fact order quite a few dishes. (Also the dessert was to die for) Hope...
Read moreStyle Over Substance at Le Braci Another upscale Italian restaurant in Warsaw, Le Braci, presents a same picture like many others:beautiful decor and an air of exclusivity, but the food itself doesn't quite live up to the promise. With a Michelin Guide recommendation, it seems the staff and owner believe they've created a culinary temple, but in reality, it's far from it. On the positive side, the restaurant's decor is a definite advantage. It’s a warm, cozy, and elegant space that creates a very pleasant atmosphere. It’s certainly a place to see and be seen, particularly with its proximity to parliament and the presence of prominent figures. However, the food I experienced was, on the whole, average. The Vitello Tonnato, a classic I was looking forward to, was not as delicate as it should be. The veal lacked the desired pink middle and was overpowered by a heavy, mayonnaise-based sauce with only a hint of tuna. It was an underwhelming starter that was simply too heavy. The homemade tagliolini with black truffles were another disappointment. While there were plenty of truffle shavings, they lacked the distinctive aroma you expect from a truffle dish. The pasta was drowning in an indifferent sauce that seemed to be 90% butter, completely overpowering any other flavors. The cannoli for dessert were just fine, a competent but unremarkable conclusion to the meal. The biggest letdown, however, was the pricing. A glass of open wine starting at €12 for an average quality is, frankly, a joke in an Italian restaurant. In the end, Le Braci is a prime example of why you can't always blindly follow a Michelin recommendation. While the decor and the undeniable hype make it a popular spot, the food itself is merely...
Read moreAs we reside in Switzerland, the bar is very high when we go to visit an Italian restaurant while traveling. As in Switzerland you can find some of the best Italian food outside of Italy.
When you enter this trendy restaurant, you are greeted by an interesting wall decoration, consisting solely of white plates, then you are immersed in emerald green decor.
The ambience is both playful and tasteful. We were immediately greeted, our coats taken and then shown to our cozy corner table.
After a lovely bowl of assorted homemade breads with extremely fine virgin olive oil, we took in the incredible wine list. With fairly priced wines by the glass - all the way to some of the most stellar Tuscans, no one will be disappointed by this list.
For starters, we took a vitello tonato and yellow fin carpaccio starter. Both dishes were artfully presented and delicious.
For the next course, we both took pasta, dishes, mine having a North African influence with lamb and delightful spices.
The sommelier was both very knowledgeable and helpful and even offered us glasses that were not on the menu - one of which, a bold and fruity Amerone AMAZING!
Sensational, service, authentic Italian cuisine and great wine food pairing, make this Warsaw gem an absolute...
