Service started out fine, waitress found us a few seats. The waitress took our orders and the starter came initially. We were a large group of people and as only one person ordered the starter, we waited for the mains to come before eating the starter to be polite to others.

The starter came, and the food looked delicious. It was well prepared. But we thought that the mains would come relatively quick so the starter wasn't touched.

40 minutes of waiting and a group of 6 people are sitting there with no food. Absolutely atrocious - we came here with high expectations and but waiting for 40 minutes is absolutely NOT acceptable!

One of the girls asked the waitress how long the food will take to come - to which the waitress went to check and long behold.. Our food arrived.. Disappointing but OK. It is what it is.

The food itself was quite good, thanks to the chefs.

We asked for the bill - and as much as I understand that usually restaurants do not "split the bill", when one of the girls from the group asked for some help, the waitress had a strange reaction - "i dont have a calculator, you have to do it yourself". Note - It is not the fact that we had to do our own calculations, but the attitude in which this was said which was disappointing.

When we realised that there was a +47zloty service charge, we felt that this "service" charge was Not appropriate for the poor level of service we received.

I understand that this is the restaurants policy but if you want to charge customers who paid over 490 zlotys then we would at least expect good customer service.

I raised this with the waitress - who we did not have a problem with but once she started getting defensive and not actually listening to our complaint, she started arguing back at us.

Again - a good restaurant should have staff trained in how to listen to customers complaints (unfortunately in this case we are the complainants) but furthermore - Be able to handle difficult situations. In this case it was evident that this staff member did not take our complaint seriously but just told us that the service charge was in the menu.

Note to the owner - please take this complaint seriously as we were all quite disappointed in which this situation was handled.

If the waitresses acted more professionally, we would have understood the situation and may not have left us leaving really disappointed.

Usually, I am not the one to make complaints but we felt that the level of service today was very poor, and on top of that to pay a service charge for which we felt it was unjustified was absolutely...

We ordered starters, ramen for me and main course for my friend, also a pot of tea and one desert. I know that it might not be "traditional ramen" but I really enjoyed the taste. Kim chi was not the best in my opinion but still very decent. Bowl was similar to what you can get at any other place by ingredients, but quality of them is on a higher level, seafood was super fresh and sauce delicious. Fuzu beef was absolutely amazing! The most tender beef I have ever tried. Desert I would describe as interesting, not traditional cheesecake, more like mousse. I was a bit surprised that the waitress didn't inform us that they had no Shoyu ramen, that we basically came for, when she brought us the menu. Second thing that was quite unusual, for our request to refill a pot of green tea with hot water she made such a face and said 'not sure if it's possible'. At all Asian restaurants I've been to, in US and EU it's normal practice. Even if it's something not acceptable at this restaurant, giving such a face to the client shouldn't be as well. I guess it's just a general attitude of this lady as in the end she addressed us as YOU, not Pan/Pani/Państwo as she supposed to, I'm not proud and it didn't ruin my evening, but I think restaurant of such level should select their staff better. I think it was same girl that was mentioned in other reviews. Fair to say that other girls...

Service was friendly. However If you are Japanese or Asian, this place will not offer an authentic taste of home.

We ordered Tan Tan ramen, Shoyu Ramen, Shrimp Tempura. None tasted authentic. Ramen noodles was wrong type of noodles, and also still clumpy when served. Shoyu soup tasted single-dimension and nothing like ramen you'll eat in Asia. Tan tan noodles here are cooked and sauce mixed as a batch, before being served in bowls. Shoyu ramen broth poured over bowls instead of being cooked as individually ordered portions; perhaps the norm in Poland/Polish interpretation of ramen? However, batch-cooking is seldom the case for authentic Japanese ramen, or any Asian noodles.

Egg in the ramen was also poorly presented; bits of the (half) egg was broken off - definitely not Japanese/Asian standards of presentation/quality commitment.

Shrimp tempura - tempura coating was very thick and flour-y, more cereal than true light and crispy Japanese-style. Prawn was mushy and did not taste fresh, can barely find/taste the prawn under all that "tempura" coating.

Definitely not a representation of Japanese ramen. Japanese ramen tastes a lot different, and a lot better than what you find here at Shoku. High reviews likely from...

I've had the pleasure of visiting this ramen spot twice now, and I can confidently say it's serving up some of the best ramen in the Warsaw area. Here's my take: Pros: Quality: The ramen here is top-notch. The flavors are rich and authentic, making it stand out in the local food scene. Value for money: The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food you're getting. Consistency: Having been there twice, I can attest to the consistent quality of their dishes. Con: Limited menu: The choice of ramen varieties isn't extensive, which might be disappointing for those looking for a wide range of options. Despite the somewhat limited selection, the excellent quality of their ramen more than makes up for it. The rich broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and well-prepared toppings create a truly satisfying meal. This place has definitely become my go-to spot for ramen in Warsaw. I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm back in the city. If you're a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a delicious meal, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
