Read moreWow! Incredible seafood, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive staff. We were dining quite early so we were the first table in the evening. We were greeted by friendly, smiling staff. The waiter let us sample 2 of the wines to see which we preferred, and explained about the "green wine". We had never had green wine before so this was educational and interesting for us. The waiter asked us what kind of thing we were looking to eat, and we replied "a bit of a selection" he explained thoroughly what was included in the "SuperNova" which was all of the images included in this review. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious! The staff explained to me how to break the crab open to get to the meat which involved a plastic hammer and some hard smacks, which were entertaining and therapeutic. We left the establishment feeling very full, and incredibly satisfied! The staff really made our experience stand out. So thank you! Google shows the establishment as "temporarily closed" but I can confirm it's open. I hope this will be updated soon, as it may confuse many...
Read moreWalking in we were a little bit unnerved that we were one of the first there but don't let that out you off - it did fill up!
The menu was daunting - seafood priced per kilo always is but we opted for seafood rice for 2 but in truth you could have anything from lobster to crabs to tiger prawns to tuna. Our server helped us through the menu and we felt informed to make our choice.
It took a little time to cook but we didn't mind - it was a clean and nicely decorated courtyard with lots of white.
The dish was incredible. There was enough for at least 3 of not 4 people. It was served in a huge pan and on a bed of rice was served tiger prawns, coquelles, crab, sea snails, mussels in a seafood bisque. It tastes incredible. We had 4 or 5 bowls full each and weren't bored of it by the end not that we came close to finishing it.
Overall service and food were excellent. However you get what you pay for - we spent 70eur on the rice and a further 10eur on some water and garlic bread. This is certianly not a place for a cheap dinner, but you won't regret...
