A perfect representation of "style over substance" where 90% of the experience is the great location & view but the food and service fail to impress.
We arrived to a near-empty venue that probably should have been all the red flags we needed but we went in, were ignored, seated ourselves and then wondered why only the staff were allowed air con above their area.
Menus came and we ordered drinks to a waiter who liked to remember things rather than take notes, needless to say the basic 6 drinks ordered came wrong.
Food was ordered in the same manner but thankfully came out OK but just as disappointingly average, but relatively highly priced, small portioned, Italian fare. The €6.50 garlic bread was notably meagre and essentially two slices of a 6" pizza so if you fancy this as a main get the "family" one which is presumably the full size at the price of a pizza.
Nobody asked if we wanted condiments or if things were OK, the staff were too busy singing happy birthday to a colleague and toasting their special day with alcohol to worry about the inconvenience of paying customers.
The music was jarring and bizarre and the large TV was set to show off road motorbike racing and skateboarding on a loop, two sports I enjoy but not while paying a premium for average food served without any thought for customer service.
I'm sure there's far better places to dine locally, they might not have the views or the convenient location next to the car park and escalators but I'm sure they have better food and can't possibly have worse service.
Avoid unless you have low standards and...
Read moreWe were lucky enough to be invited by someone we know personally — and what a privilege it was. We were seated at the very top level of the restaurant, where the wind adds that extra-special dining experience — perfect for small children aged 6 and 3. Naturally, no one thought to mention that it might be freezing and completely unsuitable for kids. Why spoil the surprise?
Now, onto the highlight of the evening: the wait. Over one glorious hour for a few pizzas. Meanwhile, every other table around us — all blissfully child-free — was served promptly. We, the ones juggling restless little ones in the cold, were apparently part of the restaurant’s slow-food experiment.
And then, the grand arrival: cold pizzas. Yes, after 60+ minutes, they managed to serve food that felt like it had been chilling on the roof right next to us. When we politely pointed this out, our waitress, clearly overwhelmed by the pressure of hospitality, rolled her eyes and graced us with the explanation: “That’s because of the wind.” Ah yes — the wind-powered pizza cooler. Of course.
She begrudgingly took the food back and returned it ever-so-slightly warmer. Not hot. Not even warm. Just… less cold. A true triumph of customer service.
So, if you’re looking for overpriced, underwhelming food, indifferent service, and a complete lack of regard for families, this is the place for you. Bonus points if you enjoy dining in Arctic conditions and being treated like an inconvenience.
Would I recommend this restaurant? Only if you’re a fan of cold pizza, eye rolls, and...
Read moreIf you want to have terrible food and service but want to pay only for the nice view and ambience, then go here. Otherwise, definitely skip this. We went there in the afternoon to reserve a spot for dinner, but they said it's only walk on. When we went in the evening, they said the nice tables are reserved????? When I questioned, they finally gave us a balcony table but with an extremely sour face. So apparently it was not reserved! Our overall service was very bad but I thought it was only for us. However, when I saw the staff at the other tables, they were still serving with a flat face, no courtesy or friendliness. So it was not us. Coming to the food, we ordered a bruschetta with mozzarella, tomato and basil. The bread was different but very nice. However the toppings were utterly bland. To not risk everything we ordered only 1 pizza (picante). It also had no taste, the chicken seemed it was boiled and shredded with no flavor and the base/crust was extremely doughy. The one thing that always gives away a horrible Italian pizza place is their cutlery. Why would you serve knives that cannot cut through a crust at a pizza restaurant. My fingers literally started hurting after eating 2 slices. Clearly shows they management is happy making money from the location only and don't care about the food or customer experience. Worst part of our trip...
