We were very unhappy with the experience. So we ordered garlic bread, thinking that it has to be focaccia. Instead of that we received thin english muffin (!) that is often served in McDonalds with sausage roll. It was 3 milimetres thick, puffy with some bits of mozarella. How come, that this poor thing in the menu was translated as a BREAD? And it cost nearly 5 e... Also pizza was not proper. In our margherita the mozzarella tasted a bit like blue cheese. Maybe wrongly stored? The choice of pizza was limited for ex. no diavola. It was rather fusion pizzeria, lacking well known classics. Prices were funny, for ex. 15 euro for pizza with nduja. When eating in best pizzerias worldwide never paid that much, because simply pizza consist of flour, tomatoes and cheese. So we only ate this poor starter, one pizza and marched extremaly hungry to Terazza del Mar for the best pizza in Albufeira. Its sad to go to very instagramable place and notice that there is no food behind it, but...

The restaurant itself is small and cosy with a lovely atmosphere. The server was so friendly and showed us to our seat. There is a menu with a wide variety of choice.
You can get antipasti salads or pizzas. We ordered the cruella devil pizza which has a local Algarve chorizo and the anchovy pizza. We also ordered a glass of the local red wine.
There is a large pizza oven and you can see the chefs cooking the food. When the pizza arrived our server offered to cut the pizza at the table for us. The food was delicious! This is exactly what you want from an authentic pizza restaurant.
We arrived at 7 and it was quiet but by the time we were leaving it was bustling. 10/10 would recommend if you have a pizza craving in Albuferia.
Our bill was almost €60 for 4 drinks and two pizzas with some added toppings so this is reasonably priced as the portions...
Read moreFirst time at Georgina last night and it was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, owners Jose and Isis made us feel welcome, enjoyed the conversation with them, and the food is fresh, tasty, and very well prepared. We both had the piccola salad, which was simple and very good with just the right amount of dressing and seasoning. Served in authentic, beautiful Portuguese pottery bowls made it seem so much more.
Our pizzas were the Queen Margarita, husband added spicy national sausage to his. Crust is thin, flavorful and the edges slightly crusty and wood smoked flavorful. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the ingredients and size of the salad and pizzas.
Location is great and convenient with a cute space and outdoor tables delightful.
Overall a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend Georgina (be sure to ask Isis about the name, it's special), we...
