Iguana Café — Restaurant in Albufeira

I have mixed feelings about the Iguana Cafe as it has a lovely setting with panoramic views of the sea and coastline.

At times the kitchen can be closed so it can end up a bit of a gamble as to whether you may be able to eat here. Upon eating here as a couple the lamb burger and cheeseburger were both quite disappointing and not something we’d have again. It was quite expensive on the price versus quality ratio too. Based upon this we decided we wouldn’t want to eat here again, but it certainly is functional as somewhere to have a drink.

The have decent cocktails and Super Bock available. The ladies serving were all very friendly and helpful too. If it’s a windy day it can get a bit breezy on the terrace and the umbrellas up mean it can be hard to get the sun too.

Overall definitely worth having a drink here and a nice quiet spot away...

Iguana Cafe is an absolute must! The location is stunning, offering breathtaking beach and sea views that make every visit special. The atmosphere is incredibly chilled, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the scenery.

The food is consistently excellent. Their baguettes and paninis are ideal for a tasty lunch, and the meat platters are simply delicious. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always remember us from our previous visits, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Great view, a bit warm without a breeze.

Had the marinated white anchovies bruschetta. It was good.

We had a baguette and panini, portions are large. The roasted chicken baguetta was okay, but I would've liked more filling. Had a lot of bread, so to say. Same for the tuna panini, it was good.

The food is good, nothing special.
