Horrible service, server (the only one server they had) is extremely rude. Not welcoming, didn’t even acknowledge us, when I finally asked if we can sit at a table, she was rude and said yeah sure. Took forever to come get our orders and was rude the whole time she did. Table next to us had been waiting 45mins for food and was getting frustrated. Many people sat down to eat, didn’t get service and ended up leaving while we were there. I went in to pay for our drinks and leave because we were too hungry to wait any longer. She became angry and said the food is all made fresh and that we can’t expect to sit down and eat in 10 mins. She said the food was coming out now so I went back to my table. We are three Aussies that were kind of devastated when we saw the food options in Albufeira....everything was awful and so overpriced. We wandered away from the beach trying to find something more authentic and happened upon this lovely little restaurant. At first we were nervous because of the one star review but we were hungry so decided to give it a shot! My boyfriend and his friend ordered the piri piri chicken which was so rich with flavour, and I ordered the fish which was super yummy too. The service was warm and lovely and the prices reasonable. We was shocked! The service here was absolutely poor, there was only one person serving and was extremely rude to all customers including us. We had been sat at our table for 15 minutes with no menus or acknowledgement. When I proceeded to ask for a menu I was shouted at and was told to “give me a minute” in a rude way. We then ordered our breakfast and waited 45 minutes. In this time we saw 5 different tables walk out, the lady then shouted at people for leaving and continued to argue with them, she even ripped a table cloth off a little girl!
