Best "Sushi degustation" so far! It's incredibly cheap for what we get.. great presentation, great sushi..
We went at the beginning of the holidays (3 july 2018) and we were incedibly happy with the outcome that we came again in the middle of our holidays! And I think we are going again one last time!
They have the "traditional sushi", but the mix they make (japanese and europe sushi) is from my point of view the best I tried so far! If you ever decide to go there: try their spring rolls and their "degustation" for 2 people!
Apart from the food, and the only main thing I have to point out is the restaurant and the location.. Clean Restaurant (which belongs to the hotel) is in the basement with little space to sit (mainly 4 tables for 4 people an 2 tables for 2 people) because they are most known for take aways, and the location makes me nerve wraking because no tourist walks ever by! (is not the main street) They need absolutly more advertisement!
I really hope they grow stronger and for my next holidays I really want to eat NewSushi by the beach (and i don't mean as a TakeAway haha) I hope they open a bigger and better restaurant near the sunset and of course still keep the sushi as afordable as...
Read moreWe came here because they have vegan sushi. Unfortunately almost all are made with avocado so not very innovative. We were seated on a spot where the table was clearly used from before with plates still staying there until we left. They have no eyes for service. It took ages until our sushi came we waited an hour to get it and even 20 Minuten for our drinks. (Pro tip: give the people edamame or anything to overcome the time). The problem is that the shop can't handle all the take aways the doing sideways. They need a waitress and at least one cook more. The sushi is well made and looks awesome but very small sized so it's expensive food compared to anything else here. I could have eaten two main dishes easily. So if you don't have time and money to travel to Japan this restaurant offers slightly cheaper and a little bit quicker...
Read moreThe sushi was very fresh and so so good. The hand rolls (both salmon and tuna) were an amazing highlight for me, also the mojito is of the best I’ve ever had. Genuine Japanese mayo used throughout, crispy fried onions seemed freshly fried on the day and both ingredients excelled the dishes higher. Service was warm, polite and friendly, we felt very welcome there. Our server even saw us to the door and wishes use boa noite.
On another note, there unfortunately wasn’t any tamago on the menu which my partner loves. Having spent 140€ with cocktails, the food isn’t cheap and is equivalently priced to a mid-range sushi restaurant in London but the quality is amazing.
Overall I would highly recommend eating here and I can’t wait...
