Solar Beirão — Restaurant in Almada

Me and my girlfriend ordered some fish for dinner. My food came after 30 min hers after 50 so that was kind of a uncomfortable difference, they gave us cheese and bread at the beginning but fortunately we didn't eat it since it would have cost extra and the cheese was a bit old already. The fish was very good though. The atmosphere was kind of typically Portuguese, sitting closely to each other and a bit noisy but not impossible to have a good talk though. The service was only ok since no1 really asked us if we want anything else and they behaved as if my girlfriend was not really there or...

Muito desorganizado. Estivemos mais de três horas a espera de mesa. Não souberam gerir o espaço e as mesas. Éramos um grupo de 18 pessoas. Se não pedissemos para dividir mesas não comíamos. Atendimento péssimo, são antipáticos, enganaram se na Conta, ainda afirmaram que não íamos pagar os gelados que já tinham sido pagos pela outra mesa que tb era do nosso grupo. Uma vergonha! Não volto lá. 1 e última vez

E ao sr gerente depois da sua resposta viu se que de facto a boa educação é formação não abundam tal cm reparei no dia do jantar. Iremos apresentar a factura dos gelados porque foi pedida factura com contribuinte e junto com esta sua resposta irei apresentar uma reclamação por questionar a honestidade e a idoneidade de quem pagou tudo o que comeu e sim vocês passaram a frente muita gente simplesmente porque não sabiam fazer gestão das mesas. Comemos todos separados sendo assim as contas foram feitas por mesas ou vocês queriam receber a dobrar como tentaram faze lo? A factura dos gelados vai ser apresentada para que não restem dúvidas da vossa péssima postura naquela noite. Quanto ao sr ter arranjado mesa não é verdade, arranjou mesas separadas ao fim de 3h30 m de espera e por nossa sugestão, que estávamos ao frio com crianças, nem o fogo de artifício vimos porque até a conta vinha com a comida da outra mesa que pagou tudo bem antes de sair inclusive o gelado. Vocês não tiveram qualquer iniciativa a não ser tentar cobrar coisas de outra mesa e deixarem nos 3h30 a espera simplesmente porque não fizeram boa gestão das mesas e do número de pessoas. Tenho a acrescentar que é inconcebível que num espaço tão pequeno tenham uma parte de fumadores onde os não fumadores estão a a inalar...

BEWARE OF THE ENTRY DISH.

The food was good and the staff was really welcoming and caring. Just one thing that bothered us greatly was the dish you see in the picture.

We have been offered a table and they instantly gave us a plate with bread, spreads, cheese and shrimp. We thought, wow that's a lot, but why not. And in the end we have been charged with 20€ for the food we didn't actually want and wouldn't have ordered if we would have known the price.
