Sale&Dolce — Restaurant in Braga

The entrecote was cold, like if it was left ready for a long time before bringing it to the table. We pointed it out to the staff and they brought it back reheated, naturally more cooked than it should be. Unacceptable, specially when you're paying €19,50 for it. We ate a la carte, but we were in a group where people ordered a menu for €23,00. Those who chose fruit for dessert got a plate with kiwi, tangerine, melon, and grapes to share between four people, with literally four little slices of each type of fruit, i.e., each person got one little piece of kiwi, one little piece of tangerine, one piece of melon, and one grape. Very cozy restaurant with great atmosphere, really nice service and delicious food. I was in Braga just for one night on 1th of January on my way to Geres and it was difficult to find a place for dinner. I found this restaurant in Fork app and wasn’t much excited to eat Italian food but there were not many options available. I had my expectations low and have never been surprised so much! Food is very affordable prices, but it tastes and smells amazing! This place really exceeded our expectations! We tried the assassin spaghetti, the shrimp and asparagus risotto, and the gnocchi ossobucco and all three dishes were absolutely incredible. The flavour balance and complexity was just perfect, the ossobucco was the most tender we’ve ever had, and the spice/flavours of the assassin spaghetti were to die for. I’m already craving more!
