Taberna da Fonte — Restaurant in Braga

If you are a steak fan then a visit to Taberna da Fonte is a must. We went there for dinner and started with the garlic prawns, which were very tasty. We then had the Entrecote for two. This dish was exceptional. Up there with the best steak I have ever had in my life. Ordered medium-rare and it was cooked perfectly. Everything about the meal was as we like, good homemade soup, entrecôte for two very flavoursome and grilled ‘à point’ which normally would not be my preference but the quality of the beef meant it was perfect. Foi a primeira visita a Braga e decidimos escolher a taberna da fonte depois de ver tantos. Não conhecendo nada lá fomos...já eram as 20 e tal da noite sem reserva ..e chegamos ao então restaurante e a funcionária veio abrir a porta a dizer que não havia de momento mesa. Mas perguntou se pretendíamos deixar número e esperar podia alguma mesa sair entretanto e assim o fizemos. Foi uma pessoa de palavra pois veio outros casais depois e já não repetiu o gesto pois o horário já se aproximava do encerramento depois. E só posso dizer foi tudo uma surpresa magnífica bem servidos em comida . Pedimos umas cascas c/aioli divinas ..uma sangria de maracujá e limão maravilhosa um bacalhau recheado de presunto delicioso e um polvo que infelizmente já não acabei pois perguntaram se queríamos partilhar os pratos e o bacalhau vinha mais cedo.
