Almina is a fantastic new addition to the city’s food scene. From the moment you step inside, you notice the care and thought that has gone into the design – the interior feels warm, earthy, and inviting, with a style that is both modern and timeless. It creates the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy a good meal. The staff at Almina deserve a special mention. They are genuinely friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their knowledge and professionalism make the whole dining experience feel effortless and welcoming. The food itself is outstanding. Inspired by the rich flavors of the Middle East, every dish is beautifully prepared, full of depth, and bursting with taste. One of the highlights is the wide variety of vegan options, which is rare to find at this level of quality. Whether you’re a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, there is something here that will impress you. Almina is the kind of place that feels both stylish and comfortable at the same time – a restaurant you can come to for a casual dinner with friends, a special occasion, or simply to treat yourself. I will definitely be coming back, and I have no doubt it will quickly become a favorite for many others too.

We had an amazing experience at Almina Cascais. After making a reservation for the wrong day, they were able to accommodate us by sitting at the bar in front of the open kitchen. This was a perfect opportunity for us to see the staff busy at work perfecting their craft and see all the outgoing dishes. The Sous Chef was very gracious and engaging with us and gave us great counsel to navigate the array of wonderful dishes to choose from. We ordered the Almina Mezze which was a selection of their signature flavors with flat bread and artisan sourdough. We ate it all and cleaned the plates. This was followed by slow cooked carrots and Mediterranean spices on a bed of Labane which is like a savory thick Greek styled yogurt. This is a must to get!!! We also had a heirloom tomato salad with melon and fig oil. We finished with the Figs with mascarpone and toasted buckwheat. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would be back again the next night if our travel permitted. Staff was outstanding in all areas and we really appreciated speaking with the Sous Chef who was so personable and open to engaging us. A must for anyone visiting Cascais.

Never have I stumbled across a restaurant and been so blown away. With Michelin level creativity and presentation, Almina has an adventurous spirit that brings new perspectives on fresh ingredients. As someone who worked in kitchens for almost 10 years probably the most reasonably priced food of this quality I have ever had. You can taste the passion and care put into every bite. Color palette of plates is lovely. The details of the interior are magnificent, the location is in a hidden quiet corner just off the beach, exterior seating is on a cute little street and the interior is homey and romantic. We sat inside and had oysters, carrots, burrata, mussels, and...
