My worst experience at a restaurant, First of all we were 4 person’s we make our order and i asked for orange juice with food but i surprised that juice comes before our order with 1 hour , order comes after 60 minutes 😡 which unbelievable i never get order from any restaurant around the world after 15 minutes maximum 20 not 60 minutes and after i ask about our order at 45th minute from ordering answer was ( is that a problem for you) 🤪 i said yes that’s too much after order comes all plates was full of oil from fried potatoes which is not acceptable from big restaurant last thing after we ask for the receipt to pay out we found that we must pay in cash only i really can’t imagine that we are in 2023 in a big restaurant and they accept only paying in cash really its my worst experience with this restaurant and I don’t...

Probably my favourite restaurant in all of Portugal. The food was amazingly tasty, the service was superb, great ambience and decor. I couldn't recommend this place enough. We sat outside as it was quiet a warm spring day, menus were brought out promptly and with a smile, the waiter asked us if we wanted more drinks, asked if our food was OK, all the things you'd expect from good service. I ordered a tagine which was amazing, and huge, and my partner ordered a cous cous bowl which was also served in a tagine bowl and was larger than he could eat. This is saying something as he has a big appetite. Well done restaurante melody. We came, we...

We stayed in Cascais for a month and unfortunately had food poisoning from a few places. Melody was one of the only places we did not get food poisoning from so we came back 4 times. Lovely little typical portuguese restaurant, just off the busy tourist street. The first time we had the baby squids, octopus rice and prawn curry which was all delicious but for 2 people maybe we ordered too much food. The second time we had the baby squids again because they were so good and then the tuna steak which was beautifully cooked. Very reasonably priced as well. Totally recommend for well cooked traditional Portuguese food. The waiters also...

Cascais Hidden Gem: Don't Miss This Seafood Rice Spot!

It is not easy to find good food in Cascais because the town has apparently become overrun by cheap tourists who do not know what real food is. But this place is just plain bad, even for local standards. They serve cheap convenience food from the wholesaler‘s freezer. We ordered tuna paste as a starter, expecting it homemade and got a pre-packed assortment of plain grocery products. The fish was clearly frozen and not fresh from the ocean. The risotto was water with rice, containing dry tasteless fish-parts probably also from the freezer. Do not support such abominations and go to restaurants who try to do better.

Food was really really good! Def recommended the chorizo fried in port wine. Perfect accompaniment with bread! Mop up every drop of the oil with some bread Mmmmh!!! Also, the sardines are perfectly salted and yet beautifully tender! So fresh and sooooo tasty! Finally, the octopus topped with onions and sitting atop of potatoes! Grilled Tender tentacles of sweet octopus, coupled with caramelised onions. Amazing! Service was really friendly and good!
