Loveliest hosts that I have met in my entire travelling career. Mariana, Francisco, Francesco and Afonso made us feel home from the very first minute. We enjoyed having a chat with them during breakfast or after coming home from dinner. They had always very good tips with regards to tours around Cascais, which beach to go surf, what to eat were or about life in general. And also organized some ginastica natural sessions with Bernardo on the roof top terrace. A full-body weight training method to stay active during your vacation. Most incredible breakfast with homemade nut butters (got addicted), cakes, banana bread, avo-feta-toast, egg-muffins and wonderful sourdough bread. All prepared by lovely Mariana, who surprises her guest every morning with a new fantastic and very tasty creation. Never had such a wonderful breakfast in a Hotel or guesthouse. Forget all the 5-Star breakfast buffets. Mariana took it to the next level. Perfectly clean rooms and house. All the rooms as well as the kitchen, garden and bedroom have all an individual theme and style and a story to be told. The beds are perfectly comfortable, specious and towels are very soft. Also loved the shampoo, body cleanser and location they have there. The guest house is a beautiful almost 200-year-old villa that just got renovated. They made sure of keeping the charm and certain elements of the old days while adding it the right amount of modern design, technical and sanitary set-up. Located in the heart of Cascais. It is perfectly quiet but if you fancy a cool dinner place or bar, both can be found literally just around the corner. The larger beaches can be reached within an easy 10 min walk. The train takes you within 30 min to the center of Lisbon. Perfect for an afternoon or day trip. I would recommend to rent a car though. There are hundreds of beautiful beaches or spots to be discovered, but more convenient to reach by car. It is the perfect place to disconnect from your normal routine (no worries, W-Lan works perfectly).I would stay there again for sure and recommend it to all my...

I am only knocking this hotel a star due to the room conditions which I will address later on in this review. The service was impeccable here. We were greeted with a friendly smile and taken well care of during our stay. So much so that they accommodated us for an earlier breakfast time so we could get going with our day earlier. The location was prime as well. It is right in the heart of the city center. They even did house keeping while we were away. The most unexpected part of this hotel was the breakfast. It was the best breakfast we had during our whole time in Portugal. You could order whatever you wanted off the menu…. The mushrooms were so tasty and flavorful. Their avocado toast was so good as well. So for the not so great news, the room conditions. We were in a private room and it looked nice. But once we got in, it was not super clean. There seemed to be mold on the floor. And really the worst part was the bathroom smell. It wasn’t unlivable but just not enjoyable to walk into the first thing in the morning. All of that said. I would probably would stay there again in a private room. The bad didn’t out...

ATTENTION! BED BUGS. To everyone who was blinded by the amazing interior (at least in the pictures). First, it was a very strange experience because we could barely contact the person working at the “hotel” desk, it was urgent as we were locked out because she forgot to send us the entry code. She then lied and said she did sent though she definitely did not. But the worst of it all, was that sleeping in a cramped room with 6 people (all the girls were super nice but one old man) is one thing and a snoring disgusting old guy who refused to react as his snoring prevented us from sleeping. I am not exaggerating when I say that it was the loudest snores I’ve ever heard. The outcome of this was that I moved to the “nice” living room sofa to be able to sleep. On the next morning, after an uncomfortable night, I flew back home. It was only on the plane that I discovered that I was covered in bed bug bites from head to foot. Now one understands why the price of the room is so cheap given the instagram paradise pictures. Please, if you don’t want to carry this plague around Europe or back to your home don’t go to the...

I just loved this place. Extraordinary breakfast, excellent customer service, comfortable and cozy housing. I felt like I am at my good friends, not like a guest. I very much appreciated a personal attitude, the possibility to try a yoga lesson on the rooftop, buy some nice stuff that you can find at the reception desk, a nice garden, or communication through WhatsApp. What surprised me was when the staff knew my boyfriend had a birthday and that I am the one who always needs extra milk. Only one thing was not perfect but what can be? The standard room on the bottom floor has some disadvantages. You can hear the noise when someone goes upstairs and basically every single move that is above. Also, there is only one mini window next to the garden, not much sun and "fresh" air. To manage to close the bathroom door also needs a bit of skill :) However, highly recommended and this place literally made my vacation. If I go next to Cascais, I will be happy to book a room again (upstairs though :) ) Thank you for everything, and wish you all the best.

Legasea Cascais Guesthouse is the perfect place for an healthy and active holiday. Legasea Cascais Guesthouse is an antique and traditional family house in the heart of the picturesque village of Cascais. This entire house has been fully restored keeping its original trace and charm. I really enjoyed breakfasts the Yoga class and I try for the first time in my life a new discipline called Natural Gymnastic.
