We have been in Cascais for over a week and have been dining in the lovely restaurants all around. The standards are very good food and service until last night. We took a wider path to Cascais and found this place. It looked very small and cosy but we were sent up to a lovely verandah overlooking the the town. The alarm bells started ringing when the bread arrived, basic baguette but stale. No excuses, 2 mins in the oven and we wouldn't have noticed. My wife had the oven cooked seabass and i the grilled sea bream. Both dishes arrived and were crudely put together by someone thinking they know food. They were the most unappealing dishes. My wife said her seabass was insipid and to make things worse, my grilled sea bream which had no grill flavour was under cooked. I pointed out that to the lady whom served us and she did offer to put it back in the oven where i believe it initially came from for a few minutes. But at that stage i had lost my appetite and just asked for the bill. I paid for everything but for future guests please be warned, a very poor restaurant in an area full of good food.
