Disappointing Experience Despite a Promising Start

We came to this steakhouse hoping for a great meal, and while the steak and sweet potato fries were quite good, the overall experience left us disappointed and uncomfortable.

Midway through our dinner, what seemed to be the owner began giving out to a new chef or staff member — loudly and within earshot of the dining area. It created a very anxious and tense atmosphere that took away from our enjoyment of the meal.

We also ordered a brownie for dessert, which unfortunately was extremely dense, dry, and not at all what you’d expect from a proper brownie. We could barely eat two bites. When we mentioned this to the same woman, she explained it was due to a new chef who was still learning — but frankly, it felt unprofessional to offer a dessert on the menu that wasn’t up to standard, then place the blame on the chef instead of taking responsibility. Even more surprising was that she didn’t offer to remove it from the bill or offer an alternative.

Between the tension among staff, poor service recovery, and a disappointing dessert, the experience felt far from what we’d expect at this price point. Sadly, we left with a bitter taste and won’t...

I wish I could say I loved this place but both the dishes we ordered were way over salted and just disappointing. We ordered the fish and filet mignon and both were incredibly salty. I had to take the skin off my fish to make it more edible and the mignon was welldone despite asking for medium. The service was nice though!
