Restaurante O David — Restaurant in Faro

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and when we arrived, it was nicely busy, food on people’s plate looked good so we decided to try. The menu was a little bit overpriced (about 20% up comparing to other restaurants in the vicinity - based on 4 dishes we remembered from the menus) and the first page that was hand written was fairly unreadable. While we were browsing the menu the staff offered us some olives, we agreed, but what they brought looked pretty ... bad. The olives looked like 4th level of quality. I tried one for the sake of “don’t judge the book by its cover” but I had to spit it out. It was disgusting. We apologised to the waiter and decided to leave. We were late for 5 min with kids and they didn’t allowed to take a table and suggested a table outside when it was raining. The table was reserved at 3 pm in advance. We were with 3 kinds and two pregnant women. It is awful attitude. Another restaurant that was close Madrugada arranged everything very fast. They have very kind stuff and very attentive owner.
