The longer I stayed here, the more this place grew on me. It’s under 5 mins’ walk from the centre of Faro and is a cross between a guest house and a hostel. There are shared toilets and bathrooms but these were scrupulously clea, as was the whole house. Not sure about the twin showers - maybe for friends who want to shower at the same time? There is a modern kitchen with everything you need on the ground floor, and a sitting room on the first floor which leads to a terrace and rooftop. ||There is not a receptionist: the place is self check-in and the owner sends you the code for the door keypad and room key box and instructions (personally I would have liked these at least 72 hours before arrival). Read moreI was staying just for 4 days. You have to know that if you want a clean towel,you have to ask for it. I haven’t seen anyone to ask about the beddings or towels or an iron. You have to send messages through booking to the owner if you want something. I asked about a clen towel and the owner came in a 30 minutes to give me. The kitchen is well equipped for the ones who come here and cook. The room is ok:clean,large,air conditioner,but a strange smell and you can hear everything,even your neighbours whispering.
