Read moreMy second visit to Faro in 12 months. I loved it the first time and still love it on my second visit. This time, I went with my brother and sister in law so had company to enjoy the town more. Faro is a historic town, with lots of cobbled streets and tiled streets to enjoy shopping, the sites, cafes coffee shops etc. Boat trips from the Marina to different islands, and trips to see the dolphins. Although, we didn't stay to enjoy the night life of Faro, I'm sure that the town comes alive. There are music venues, live performances and a rooftop mandolin player above the Tourist information building. The tourist information office is a great place to start your Faro journey, where you can get a lot of details about places to visit and things to do. You can buy maps and guide books for these activities including bird watching and walks. I'm sure that I will visit...
