Zorba The Greek Faro — Restaurant in Faro

We visited this newly opened Greek restaurant in Faro and had a fantastic experience. We went for the Greek Meze, which came in five rounds, there was more than enough food, based on a minimum order of 2. They come out in stages, there was breaks in-between each course, the later dishes are mainly meats, so try to save some chips, salad etc from the earlier courses.

Others in our group had the Kleftiko and Greek Gyros — both were thoroughly enjoyed. They also offer gluten free options which when down well with our party. The staff were lovely and welcoming, and despite being busy, the service was great. However, I’m glad we booked a table due to being busy, which I would recommend so you’re not disappointed.

We found the whole evening to be excellent value for money. With a few Greek freebies as a surprise!

We all had such a wonderful night at Zorba the Greek. I was very curious as I do not see many Greek restaurants in Portugal.

The food was fantastic, amazing value, the managers and the staff were delightful. We had many drinks, Great company, got to speak to all of the people that worked there and the most incredible manager.

We had a rare and lucky night, so this was an absolute delightful experience. Our company even got to smash plates in the very Greek way, which was quite extraordinary and I've never done such a thing before.

I think this restaurant in Faro should be visited, recommended and I hope that many people get to see as a pleasurable...

Absolutely incredible! From start to finish, my dinner at Zorba The Greek Faro was flawless. I started off with the beef & lamb kebab, perfectly seasoned, tender meat that melted in my mouth. For my main, I couldn’t resist the gyros mix (chicken, pork & halloumi) and it was a true flavor bomb! Juicy, smoky, and the halloumi added the perfect salty bite. The portions were HUGE with great value for money, the service was warm and attentive and the atmosphere felt authentically Mediterranean.
