Horrible service, the most unfriendly server (older lady). We sit outside for a quick lunch before leaving Faro, the chairs were uncomfortable and small tables, the inside looks cute but it was too warm to sit. They told us to take the menus and sit. They took long to take our order (my mother went inside to call the server), very small menu with minimal options. I requested the tofu bowl (budha bowl), which said medium spice, lady told me it was ginger spice and only a little spicy, I told her I'm not good with spicy food but I like ginger, so should be ok. I also asked if I could try the sauce and she ignored. We asked for the "lemonade of the day", if it was different than other lemonades, she started jokingly smiling and said "it's lemonade, lemons and water", I explained I have had many different lemonades with other flavours, this one is "of the day", suggesting it is different than normal. When the food came, I could see pieces of chilli in the tofu, it was super spicy (my husband likes spicy food and it was very spicy for him). I told her there was chilli and she said no, I pointed to her the chilli pieces in the sauce and she ignored me and left the table. The "burger of the day" was burnt and oily, the slice of fried aubergine was also oily (not very healthy of them). The falafel bowls were good. We went to ask for the bill and my husband asked if they accepted cash, she just said no is the most unfriendly way and did not suggest other methods (mbway, atm nearby). Honestly, just a bad experience - unfriendly, took so long to serve, and even healthy food tastes unhealthy with oil, rude. We forgot to ask to put our tax number, because definitely they are trying to escape tax pay like this. If you're vegetarian like...

We waited a long time for the waitress to take our order, but okay it was full. Then, for our water (plastic bottle) we waited another 20 mins. Finally after 1 1/2h we got our wraps with almost cold fries.
The food was delicious overall.
When we paid, I kindly told the waitress to let people know in advance that it can take a long time (we did not plan to stay that long!). She wouldn’t want to let me finish my sentences and said to me, while walking away! : “You saw that it is full, you should have known that it takes a long time”. The cook came and tried to justify the long wait with “it is normal in Portugal to wait a long time” (do not drag other Portuguese into this please) and “normally, people order the dish of the day, but today no one did so it took longer” etc.
This is again a friendly advice if you do not want to make customers angry:
Be nice and do not argue with them! We did not make any troubles and waited patiently 90min for a quick wrap, so do not tell us we should have known it takes times
This was a real unpleasant experience to have to argue with you. Good luck...
Read moreWere looking for this vegan restaurant because of reviews we read about it. Expecting amazing food and some vegan connections. While interior was looking cosy to me, when we started to look at their menu on board next to staff, we have been told to sit down, they will come to serve us. Later we have been asked what we would like, without menu being offered, so we didn’t have a clue what their offer is. Asking what they have to eat, been told they don’t cook that day and they have cakes only, lady said she is going to have a look for some leftovers for us 😅. Then came back, then left again. As I am not going to pay for leftover we asked about selection of cakes then, still trying to give a chance. The answer was ... we have only 1 type of cake and a chia seeds pudding. We had to leave to find some proper food. Shame, as we would like to have proper full meal there. BUt we didn’t have other option really. Excitement leaded to...
