I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the delightful ambience and tasteful decorations that exuded character.

Went here for dinner and it was just ok. The waiter was nice and professional, but seemed to lose interest when we changed our mind to have wine. Forgetting a requested wine glass and having zero sense of humour, serving seemed to be a bit of an inconvenience. Maybe he had a bad day.

The ‘Regional Speciality’ squid in garlic butter arrived in a red wine sauce, and although nice, wasn’t what we ordered. We didn’t grumble either. It was nice. The steak was mediocre at best. Stringy fat and to be blunt, expensive for its size, let alone lack of quality and thickness.

The wine was nice, but again well overpriced. I think they feed off the Blandy’s name as it’s downstairs.

Would I go again? No. It’s overpriced, lacks quality and the all round atmosphere...

Found 1811 searching for restaurants… read the reviews and it sounded great. I was a single diner which they accommodated and i noticed there were other single diners there as well. Was greeted promptly and decided on the tasting menu with wine pairing. The portions were just right and wine complimented each dish. Each course was my favorite until i had the next one and so on. Overall, great experience. Culinary team created wonderful fantastic flavors and presentations, my favorite the small flower garnish! Lovely find and service was excellent!!They anticipated each course and delivered right in time!...
