So, one star is that place looks nice. As for the coffee, truly I have no idea how this place has so high rating. What is even more surprising to read that in this place you get specialty coffee. If you do want specialty coffee it is NOT what is SERVED here. What you get is cheap, burned coffee, which you can get at a cheapest bar on the island. One could at least try to work with this “coffee”, but this was not done here either, the machine is not calibrated for the roast, as a result the espresso was extremely watery, plus too hot. The cappuccino was a nightmare: in addition to badly brewed espresso, horribly foamed milk (overheated and overfoamed) was added. Extreme disappointment. UPDATE following the response from the owner: Me and my partner were offered to have another coffee. A pair that was sitting at a table next to us had their coffee drinks replaced. To me this is really awkward, as if I come to a coffee place that is rated at 4.7 (rating at the time of the visit) and is positioned as "specialty coffee" location, I expect coffee drinks to be good from the first instance, not after a replacement and for sure "specialty coffee upon request" does not fit into the picture either. In addition, this ends up to be waste of resources (water, electricity, customer's and employee's time, etc.). I will not deep dive into the coffee prep, but playing a bit more with coffee grind size/water and milk temperature would be something to consider.

Retro vibes and well maintained. I see it was really hard to put with this kind of setup when you are the employee and the owner. I understand the hard work he must be doing to maintain the cafe which is reflected how he greets his customers. The design of the cafe shows hid passion for the shop. Located in busy street its not very had to go unnoticed. The coffee itself is really good as he ground it right infront of us. Most of the cafe that does so charge a hefty amount for the coffee. I would say the price is decent for the work. Overall, it is really well maintained cafe with good customer service. I would certainly give 100% if i could but the 1% i would have given if it was really different which would leave a impression on the mind. I really like the work enthusiasm of the owner. It is really great place to hangout with friends and coffe is really smooth. I would say its definitely worth your time to spend few euros here.

Do not be tempted by the latte art pictures. While this may look like a third generation coffee shop at first, this is not a specialty coffee place. We had a cappuccino, which was overly hot. The milk was not properly micro foamed and the coffee tasted over extracted and bitter. The foam was just poured onto the espresso and was almost completely white. The fact that they have a flat white on the menu might lead you to think that the coffee is good: it is unfortunately only mediocre and, as other reviews state, can be found in the same quality far cheaper in other spots around town.

Service was quick and friendly.

The cafe is located next to a busy road and there is a lot of traffic. If you are looking for a quiet spot...
