We had an absolutely spectacular experience at this steakhouse. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor was classy yet comfortable, setting the perfect mood for an enjoyable meal. Our server, Rosy, truly elevated our dining experience. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with ease and making excellent recommendations.
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. We started with appetizers that were bursting with flavor, setting high expectations for the main course. When the steaks arrived, they were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and seasoned impeccably. The sides were equally delightful, complementing the main dishes beautifully. The presentation of each plate was meticulous, adding to the overall experience.
Rosy ensured our glasses were never empty and checked in just the right amount to make sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Her warmth and professionalism made us feel like valued guests. The dessert was a perfect end to the meal, delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, this was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The combination of exceptional food, outstanding service by Rosy, and the delightful ambiance made for a memorable evening. We highly recommend this steakhouse to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. We'll...
Read moreLunch time Espetada meal turned into a very pleasant surprise! We jumped into this restaurant initially to have only a drink during a heavy downpour of rain and decided to stay for lunch as the intoxicating smells lured us during the right time for also eating! Restaurant was empty except us so we thought maybe the weather was the reason… turns out it’s a new restaurant recently opened and no reviews so we thought we’d try it out nonetheless. Starters of Garlic bread and garlic prawns are to die for if you like garlic - both went together beautifully and we ended up all garlicked out! Main course was perfectly cooked and seasoned picanha beef and black pork espetadas over the wood/coal bbq - smells of burning wood and seeing the chefs cooking through the glass shielding, it was hard to hold back the saliva until the dishes came…. Traditionally served on the high mounted stands with accompaniment of rice and black beans and a side portion of chips to share. Couldn’t get enough of the rice and black beans! But definitely too much for the two of us to finish…. Couldn’t manage a desert… The servers were very nice, very attentive and restaurant had pleasant decor and music. Apparently busier at night but I’d happily jump back in again next time I head to Madeira for my espetadas and even if only just to smell their wood cooking fires! And with...
Read moreWe came here because of the high rate but it was so disappointing - and this was our first meal in Madeira! This is the least place I would recommend out of my whole trip. The food was not good - for all of us. The service was also not great, the staff were neither helpful nor friendly.
I tried the grilled pork others recommended, it was dry and not much flavour. The friend who ordered the fish ate it in pain. The fish was bitter (it was so obvious, not just minor flavour) and I tried it myself and can’t stand it. My friend was not a vocal person so she just kept quiet and didn’t make a complain. But I can’t stand watching her eat her food, so I called the staff. She checked with other staffs, the chief and we waited 5-10 minutes. (I can tell they can’t be bothered with us)The staff came back and said this was normal (although she also agreed that it shouldn’t taste bitter), and probably because the fish marinated in wine. She didn’t apologise or tried to make any compensation. So sounds like we were the one who didn’t know how to appreciate food…😐
The only I would order again is cornmeal, it was the best one out of all the restaurants I tried.
Anyways…bad experience here and I would not recommend...
