Hamburgueria 351 Biströ-Bar — Restaurant in Funchal

Despite our best efforts to find positives about this place we somewhat struggled.

The food wasn't great ( wasn't awful either but that's not what I would like to say about a restaurant after having my meal )

We ordered two beers and a cheatmeal which is two burgers, chicken tenders, chicken wings and some chips

In fairness the waitress was very good and explained the different beers they had on offer and what they didn't have at the time, this was appareciated.

The chicken in the tenders and burger was of questionable quality and origin - we have good confidence it was highly processed and undercooked. The sauce on the chicken burger resembled spaghetti quite closely.

The beef burger was quite good, however with the same spaghetti like sauce. Don't get me wrong it didn't taste bad just was an ingredient pairing not expected from a burger. Wasn't great either though.

We raised our concerns with the gentleman behind the bar who passed them onto the waitress. They acknowledged and discounted the bill by 10percent which is a positive and only.reason why 3 stars are given ( not the discount but the acknowledgment of a serious complaint )

I would have one word of recommendation - taste your food every now and then. It makes all...

Well, I was probably expecting something more acording to so many amazing reviews but i was kind of disepointed. The burger was good but not great. The burger was made "well done" so all of the meat flavours were gone, it should be cooked "medium" it would be so much better. I taste a lot of garlic, which is kind of typical for restaurants in Madeira, but it was not working with the other flavours. I was also disappointed by the fact that my burger was rather cold, especially the bacon. It looks like they made my burger first and then my husband's burger because his burger was much warmer.

But anyway, the restaurant gives you a choice to make your own burger, so you can compozit whatever you like. Staff was very friendly and kind and we like it here and we would like to come back, but we just didn´t find the burgers...

Very creative and tasty burgers! The burger is built the right way where it's wider rather than tall, letting you actually eat it like a burger should be enjoyed, with your hands. So many places build on height and you have to maul it with knives and whatnot.

Their mayo pesto creation is a really tasty and different fry sauce, would absolutely recomend giving it a try!

The Mexican burger was sooo good! Extremely happy with my pick from the menu, we also had the ranch burger, and while it was good it wasnt the winner of the two.

It's a very relaxed dining experience, table service but nothing fancy. Just a good little...
