After two weeks of good experiences around the island, this one was a let down. The cafe was about half full at around 2 in the afternoon. We waited 15 minutes until a waitress came. No menu was forthcoming. We asked for one but the reply was: are you looking for food or drinks? Because we just had a big group order and there won't be food for at least an hour. Now normally I would pack up and find another place that wants the business but we stayed and ordered just a couple of coffees and pastries. No way the waitress was going to come back to get us the bill so I went up to the counter to pay where I was ignored for a while then able to pay and we went on our way. The large table in question was a group of about 8. They have no special allowance for gluten restrictions, vegetarian restrictions, and even snacks such as a waffle or crepes are not known, not to mention their tea / tisane options...
