We came here several times during our stay. The service is very friendly and kind. We tried several of the bowls. You can combine your base of choice with toppings, fruits and sauces. I tried the açaí and found it nice, if rather sweet. My kids liked the yogurt and especially the peanut butter topping. A medium bowl was enough for my hungry 13 year old very hungry caterpillar. The red smoothie was really good. My daughter also liked the smoked salmon sandwich. Two of three of us liked the coffee - I didn’t. Sunny Bowl was one of my favorite food spots in Madeira! Their açaí bowl was hands down the best I’ve ever had—perfectly thick, super fresh, and topped with the most delicious fruit and granola. I also tried their “traditional” sandwich and instantly fell in love. The flavors were simple but packed with that homemade, comforting touch that makes you want to go back the next day (and I did!).
