Decadente Lounge&Shop — Restaurant in Lagoa

I had been looking forward to visiting but sadly my party had two separate negative experiences here at the hands of a very rude staff member. This young man made us feel very unwelcome. I came with a little baby who was sleeping peacefully but the staff member looked with disgust at the child. I think he may have personal issues. It's a shame but important to share the feedback I think. On the other occasion, my friends visiting and had a similar experience so there is clearly a pattern.

Upon entering, I sat near a table on a free bench as there was no staff around, and inquired if there were any tables for a quick drink. There were definitely places free and another table vacated shortly after too. The staff member was very short and rude and told us to leave. He did not say sorry or invite us to make a reservation or come back...

Great little courtyard for wine. Friendly waiters but the one we spoke to didn't know anything about the wines - no problem as we were able to guess which red we'd like the most, but would be ideal for the staff to have tried them so they could give recommendations. I'm being picky though - by far one of the nicest places to be in Carvoeiro. Good value - we paid 17 euros for a bottle of red and 1...

Very disappointing experience. Our waiter never came to take our order, so we had to go to the bar ourselves. When we later tried to get another drink, the bartender refused to serve us.
