We went for dinner here with some family and friends, I always worry when I go to an Indian restaurant as I love my curry. I have been to Inda to sample the genuine food and I have to say the food in this establishment could have been shipped here from India. Every dish we had was full of individual tastes and clearly made fresh. There were some things that were not on the menu but the young lady’s who were serving us said no problem let us know what you want and the chef will make it. He did and it was all fabulous, especially liked the fact that they had a hotness rating system of 3 chilly being hot and so on down, and they were spot on with their spicing. The restaurant is at the end of a quaint little ally just off the quayside and the whole front opened up so you could take in the atmosphere. There were 2 young ladies looking after us that were brilliant, attentive, humorous, and polite. I would have no problem recommending this restaurant 💯. I would suggest if you choose to go it would be best to book. Oh and the house red...
Read moreWorst Indian food ever, the owner claims he is from india. Please serve this to your parents and see if they would eat this dog food. I traveled here because I heard it was good but this is not indian food and nothing compared to it. Plus this is very expensive compared to the fresh fish you get around the city. Please avoid this place as they have no clue what to do.
To top it off they are not modern and the owner brags way too much about things he has no clue about, he is all about the money and how much he can steal from you. He is the most incompetent man I have ever met.
Also the locals do not eat here apparently they have a problem with this guy. I heard Mr. bedi gets drunk and abusive to his workers if you eat here you are supporting his behavior. He needs to leave this beautiful city and go back to wherever he came from. Because when I told him how bad the food is and that the naan is not naan but frozen roti he was rude about it.
WORST RESTAURANT EVER...
Read moreWent to Indigo to celebrate my 60th Birthday and had an incredible experience. The two girls front of house were friendly, funny and entertaining. They were also knowledgeable about the food. The chef/owner (?) came over to see us and said he would cook for us a tasting platter so no need to order from the menu. They cooked 5 great dishes (2 prawn, lamb, chicken and paneer) plus rice and peshwari naan. They were all extremely flavoursome and cooked with a medium spice we asked for. All dishes come as requested, you can even order a hot spiced Korma if that floats your boat. The house white wine is excellent and, because it was my birthday, we were treated to a free desert together with sparkler candle. Not just a meal, but a...
