We had really good francesinhas here, and service was very friendly. They had a lot of options, from meat ones (sausage and chorizo) and vegetarian ones. We ordered a meat one and a vegetarian one, both were extremely delicious. The vegetarian one had mushrooms, eggs, cheese, and had tomato sauce. You can also order a completely vegan one if you’d like, and they even offer extra sauce for your meal partway through! (We thought this was extra nice). They have other starters/appetizers and dessert as well. The area itself is cute and has a decent amount of tables, but make reservations if it’s a big group as they only had one “big” table. Even so, be ready to wait a bit for your meal, although I am sure you...
Read moreFirst experience but for sure it was the last as well!
Francesinha? Nah, just some stale bread (which was NOT the bread usually used for Francesinhas, it's supposed to be fluffy and soft) it was more like Focaccia bread. Almost no sauce and the fried potatoes were all greasy and in such a small quantity! The food was brought cold to the table.
Waited for my order to be taken for more than 20 minutes and another 40 min for the food. Never again!
Even in Lisbon you will find waaaay better Francesinhas in a random restaurant than the "insult" this restaurant serves as being...
