Bondi Bowls — Restaurant in Lisbon

Amazing spot hidden away in one of the most beautiful areas of Lisbon. The food is 10/10 as is the owner. He’s incredibly kind and accommodating. They do the best açaí bowl in the city in my opinion.

I have a gluten intolerance and my partner can’t have dairy (lactose), we have no issues here. The chicken curry deal is really good with homemade lemonade. You can get poke bowls, gelato, kombucha, and lots of other healthy food here.

They do events as well with live music and are always finding new ways to bring people together around food, drink, and good vibes. The restaurant is in a very funky space downstairs with other interesting independent places with extremely comfortable seating in the common area. You can eat/drink downstairs to get reprieve from the heat or upstairs in both shaded and sunny areas.

I stumbled upon Bondi Bowls by chance and absolutely loved the experience. It’s a bit tucked away from the tourist spots, which makes it even more relaxing. You immediately feel at ease when you arrive.

We came as a group without a reservation, and the service was excellent. We were quickly seated on the terrace, and the owner was incredibly kind and attentive, helping us build our poke bowls while considering allergies and preferences.

Everything was super fresh and flavorful, and the little details—like the infused water and offering to change seats to enjoy the sun—really stood out.

I loved the Protein Balls for dessert: tasty and healthy. The coffee was great too, with several plant-based milk options.

As a bonus, the owner gave us awesome local bar and restaurant tips for the rest of our trip.

Such a lovely place for a healthy meal! All of the ingredients tasted fresh and worked well together, and I loved how colorful every dish was! Definitely a great place to stop for a healthy lunch. The owner was also a super kind human. He showed us the different seating options (several lovely outdoor terraces and indoor seating too), explained his favorite dishes, and you could tell he put a lot of intention into every single detail of both the food and ambiance.
