Tiffin Cafe Lisboa — Restaurant in Lisbon

Cute little cafe and I would have given this 5 starts but the waitress made so many mistakes and got us feel that we were the problem 😅 Maybe she was new and a bit nervous or she was’t that fluent in English or somerhing…

We ordered orange juice and got red juice instead, we ordered banana bread and got brownie instead, we ordered kimchi and did not get it before asking again, we ordered avocado pie and got a toast instead (at this point we did not send this back anymore cause we felt that we were bothering her). She also kept recommending food which was finished for the day and got back to us after ordering those things twice.

So in the end we did not get any items we ordered before asking again 😅 And that would be ok by being nice but she made us feel that we were the problen even though she misunderstood basically everything herself…

Other than that the atmosphere and employees were super nice and we liked the homemade feeling...

Fatima and Frank, the owners of Tiffin Cafe, has succeeded greatly in creating a cafe which stands out from the rest. We stumbled upon this place by chance but it is well worth seeking out. Chilled vibe, incredibly warm welcome, very short menu which changes regularly (not sure if this is daily or weekly). We shared the savoury cheesecake and the Tabbouleh salad. Both incredible, so much flavour, made with a delicate but expert hand, layers of flavour and texture.
