Came as a group of 12 after an event and were seated around 9pm. At first, the staff (2x) seemed accommodating since there were maybe 3 seated tables at the time, but that changed quickly. While we understand service can take time, especially with a large group, the delay we experienced felt bit unreasonable.

After placing our orders, we were led to a back room with no windows or airflow - not the most comfortable setting. It took 30 minutes just to get our drinks, and over an hour before any food arrived, with no updates or check-ins from the waiter during that time. Meanwhile, the table behind us (who arrived only slightly earlier as a Portuguese family of 10+) got their full meal, finished, and paid - all before we had a single bite. Not sure if it was because we were Americans.

When the food finally arrived, we ordered the all-you-can-eat picanha, it was delicious. Great quality, flavorful, and worth noting. Because of how long the first round took, we were hesitant to order more, but did so anyway since we paid for it, the second round came out in less than five minutes. It left us wondering: why the long wait in the first place?

We genuinely enjoyed the food and liked the vibe of the restaurant, but the lack of communication and the way we were overlooked made the experience frustrating. Maybe it was just an off night, but for us, the service unfortunately overshadowed what could’ve been a...

We traveled to Portugal with 42 people and this was by far the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in Portugal PERIOD. We’ve been to some of the nicer places with the beautiful views, many reviews etc but this place was a small little side place with the most absolute BEST tasting food. The meat was seasoned to perfection, the rice had more flavor than any rice ever and it wasn’t sauced, the black beans were the best black beans we’ve ever tried and our whole group felt the same, the salad had such an amazing but light dressing (it wasn’t swimming in dressing it was very light but bold flavor), the potatoes had a smooth cheese on top that complimented the potatoe very well, the coconut dessert was SO delicious (a brazialian) favorite and the apple crumb was the best crude we have all tasted. WOW this place blew us all away. If I could give it 100...

Overpriced, small portions and low quality meat. We asked for medium rare but got well done. Menu lists some wine bottles in ½ size but they make you buy the entire bottle paying double the listed price. Staff doesn't speak English either. Best avoided...

Edit:

After getting the bill the owner came to remedy the situation with the full bottle, turns out there was an honest mistake during the ordering where the waitress tried communicating that they didn't have the green wine we order and as such gave us a different but more expensive one. In the end the owner charged us only for the half bottle although we got a different full one as well as a very delicious piece of cake as compensation. The original message still stands that the steak is overpriced however the service is excellent and as such they deserve 3/5 stars...

This restaurant is my go-to neighborhood favorite when I’m craving picanha and feijao - both of which are the best I’ve tried in Lisbon. You can choose between a prato (single dish) or the rodizio (all you can eat) depending on how hungry you are and how long you would like to dine. During summer days, the outdoor terrace is lovely to even just enjoy a drink. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful boasting classic Portuguese blue tiles with a laid-back white table cloth setting. The team is absolutely wonderful, always welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended!

From the the reviews we were expecting a hidden gem but left feeling disappointed. Certainly avoid for dates for special occasions, however reasonably priced. Starter was a plate of melted cheese and three small slices of pepper. Mains of beef and beans were nice but not great. Wet chips. Salad was shredded lettuce and tomato only (takeaway style). I might come here midweek but look elsewhere for something special in Lisbon.

We live in Lisbon since August and passed by Picanha almost every single day…finally decided to go for lunch today and what a lovely and great surprise! We decided to order the Rodizzio of Picanha and it was delicious! Unlimited rice, potatoes, feijoada and of course Picanha . We did reorder Picanha 4 times hehe. A must visit!
